decodeString

Decodes an encoded Turtle string. Any \-escape sequences are substituted with their decoded value.

Parameters:

theStr - An encoded Turtle string.

Returns:

The unencoded string.

Throws:

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException - If the supplied string is not a correctly encoded Turtle string.
